Since its beginnings in the 90’s and 2000’s Agile has continued to evolve and gain greater traction across the globe as businesses look to remain competitive in ever faster changing market conditions. As a consequence Agile has grown beyond the domain of software development and Agile / Lean concepts are implemented from the Executive suite to Deployment and Operations. We have seen the advent of Business Agility, Agile @ Scale and DevOps, all aimed at improving how we deliver value to customers.
Whilst there is benefit achieved by improving isolated elements of the delivery process, there is far greater value achieved from implementing a whole of system (systems thinking) approach to the planning, prioritisation, financing and delivering products and outcomes. As such mindset and culture play an important role in ensuring a collaborative environment supports the ‘whole of system’ delivery process.
Slice Consulting focuses on helping companies adopt Agile by educating and supporting leaders to embrace an innovative and growth mindset whilst giving their people the skills and empowerment to be the best they can be. Growing internal agile practitioners is critical to achieving and sustaining organisational agility. We employ a “See One – Do One” and ‘Coach-the-Coach’ approach that gets teams and programs up and running quickly while enabling internal practitioners to support adoption and continuous improvement in the long run. This model allows our clients to leverage expert Agile knowledge and experience and scale Agile delivery over time with less reliance on our Coaches.

Over the last 15 years Steve as a leading Agile Consultant Steve has coached, trained and mentored over 45 different businesses over many different market sectors across Australia and New Zealand.
This background has provided a deep tool chest of pragmatic knowledge, practices and learned experiences that help him successfully design, shape and guide strategic change across the organisation.
